After viewing the video over at Problogger.net that gives a short tour of Darren’s home office, I too created a similar one showing my PC and the chair I use while blogging but the video is not all that good as I have never tried this before nor do I know anything about video editing. The video is not of good quality either as I filmed my PC with my Nokia N73 Music Edition which has just a 3.2 megapixel camera.

Those of you who use Windows Vista may have noticed that the clock in your system tray displays time in the 24 hour format by default. If you prefer 12 hour format and is confused on how to do it, follow these steps:

1. Click the Start button
2. Click the Control Panel and then double-click Regional and Language Options if you are using Control Panel in Classic View OR click Clock, Language, and Region and then click Regional and Language Options
3. Click Customize this format
4. On the Time tab, Change Time format to hh:mm:ss tt

Note: Change Time format to HH:mm:ss to switch back to 24-hour clock format.

This may sound simple, but believe me I never found the option to switch to 12 hour format until I googled and found this page.

Do you prefer to moderate comments on your blog but tired of getting your inbox flooded with moderation notices? How-To Geek has developed a WordPress Comment Moderation Notifier software which sits in your system tray and alerts you whenever there is a comment for moderation. It accesses the WordPress XML-RPC API by means of a small WordPress plugin.

Using the software, you will be able to quickly launch your comment moderation page via the menu you get when you right-click the icon in your system tray. When there are new comments you will get a little message pop up and clicking on it will take you to the moderation page. The software also lets you control on how often it should check for new comments.

1. Adsense-Deluxe: Place Google AdSense ads in your WordPress Posts
2. Akismet: Prevents Spam
3. Chunk Urls for WordPress: shortens urls in comments so that they won’t break your site
4. Feedburner Feed Replacement: Forwards all feed traffic to Feedburner while letting through some important User-Agents
5. Full Text Feed: Prevents WordPress 2.1+ from adding a more link to your website’s feed

I first started noticing Dragon Ball Z when I found  my younger brother watching it regularly. I don’t usually watch cartoons now as I used to when I was a kid but I watch Dragon Ball Z some times because I like watching how they use their powers (that’s the reason I love X-Men). I have not watched all Dragon Ball Z episodes but enjoyed the episodes with the Androids.

My favorite Dragon Ball Z characters are Goku and his son Gohan.

An about me page is one of the most important pages of a blog because readers need to know about the person who’s blog they are reading and what the blog is about. I have seen many blogs that do not have an about me page and some that use the default about page on a WordPress blog.

How to write an About me page

A good about me page describes about the author of the blog with at least one photo, his experience on the topic he is writing, what the blog is about, how visitors can contact the author and offers links to the RSS Feed encouraging the visitors to subscribe.

You may also link to your advertise page and other important pages and posts of your blog that you want your readers to visit. Also make sure that you link your About page on your blog’s main menu or in the sidebar where it can be found easily.
