How To Load YouTube Videos Faster
If you are on a slow internet connection, you might have noticed YouTube videos getting stuck. The solution to this is to use SpeedBit Video Accelerator. This software will make your YouTube videos stream faster and play smoother by reducing buffering problems and video interruptions.
SpeedBit Video Accelerator is a product from the creators of Download Accelerator Plus (DAP).

How SpeedBit Video Accelerator works
When you are watching a video on YouTube, SpeedBit Video Accelerator will open multiple connections to the video file hosted on YouTube servers and will download the video parts simultaneously so you are less likely to suffer those video buffering issues.

See here for more info on how it works.
SpeedBit Video Accelerator Features
- Reduce YouTube ‘movie freezes’ and ‘buffering’ problems
- Accelerates embedded YouTube videos around the web (MySpace.com, Blogger etc…)
- Includes a cool search feature for finding videos around the web right from your desktop!
- Bookmarks videos you have accelerated for easy replays
System Requirements
OS: Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP
Browser: Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, FireFox 1.5, FireFox 2.0
I could not try out this useful software as it does not work on Windows Vista
What to do if SpeedBit Video Accelerator does not work for you?
If this software does not work for you and you still want to watch YouTube videos smoothly, just press the Pause button on the YouTube player and wait till the whole video is downloaded to your computer.
After the full video is available in your browser’s cache, you can watch the video smoothly
You may also download the YouTube video to your computer and save it as a FLV file on your hard disk. To view FLV files, download the FLV player.

This is really cool one.I had been using DAP from long time and now this one works on the same concept.I wonder youtube people should make vidoes as view only and restrict copying to maintain people videos being misused in other places.

I’ve seen some of my friends browsers have some toolbars, plugins software installed without their knowdledge. One might want to delete this useless software simply by running a free program called Hijacthis and this will speed up your browser and hence youtube a bit I think.

Firefox users beware. Speedbit Video Accelerator does not work correctly with the newer version of Firefox I have as my default browser. When I click on a video or link in the app it opens IE which I don’t use and the search feature within the app gives less than impressive results. Furthermore, I don’t notice any improvement when on YouTube. Perhaps it works okay on other video sites and if you use IE.

Thanks for using and supporting our product. We have some answers for several comments:
@Cristina -
Yes, it is entirely free
@Natalia -
Yes, it works with Veoh and more than 100 other video sites. check this link to see the complete list (http://www.videoaccelerator.com/support/serverstatus/?v=2.2.1.8)
@Joan -
No mac version yet. It is on our roadmap though. Can’t go into more details about that now.
@JohnTP -
Latest version (2218) should work on Vista. In case it doesn’t, we consider it a bug, and would appreciate anyone who’d contact our support department (support@videoaccelerator.com)
@Jush -
On its default mode, SpeedBit Video Accelerator should support ANY browser (Firefox, Opera, etc.), as it actually works at a lower level and can support any browser. However, when installed on Vista OS or when conflicts with certain firewalls, we use an alternate method, which is currently compatible with IE only - but we are working hard on fixing that.
Keep on watching videos
