YouTube Downloader
I have mentioned earlier on how to download YouTube Videos and how to rip audio from YouTube videos. Here is a easy to use software called Biennesoft YouTube Downloader that can help you download video clips from YouTube and convert them to iPod, PSP, Cell Phone, Windows Media, XVid or MP3 from your desktop.

To download a YouTube video with this tool just select ‘Download video from YouTube’, enter the video URL and click Ok. The video is downloaded with file name ‘get_video’ and without extension.

You can then rename the file giving it a flv extension so that you can play the video with a FLV player or use the same tool to convert the file to a Ipod video, MP3 file or in other available formats.

The software is basically two different applications. One to download, and another to convert. I guess something like automatically downloading an MP3 is not possible. Here, you end up saving two files; one .flv and another .mp3 everytime…

I will probably still use Vixy but it looks very nice. I like it’s simplicity.

John, I used the keyword download youtube movies in “search here” box (located on top of this page), but it didn’t pull out anything. It seems like there’s a problem with the search engine. I independently found youtubex.com using google search later. I think it is because the search engine does not search for each string, instead it search for group of words (sentence search).
