Google’s Blog Pinger

Google announced today that you can now ping their blog search service here to let them know when you have updated your blog.

If you own a WordPress blog, you can ping them automatically everytime you post by going to ‘update services’ under options/writing and adding http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2 to a new line.

Note: Doing this may increase the time to publish a post.

   After adding http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2 to the ping list, it takes more time to publish a post

   Yee, good question how it works, i am there from short time but i will look at this traffic. I think you should Google about this.
