Over at DigitGeek, we started a page where the readers can submit their hardware related problems and get it solved.

No matter whether you are looking for suggestion on which laptop to buy or on how to fix your Monitor or on anything else, just ask us and we will gladly help.

All you have to do is to submit them via this page and we will answer them in a post soon. Also make sure to subscribe via RSS or Email to get notified when we answer them. Don’t be shy, ask us now!

DreamHost’s Support Sucks

This blog was down for two days or more and DreamHost never bothered to reply or fix it. JohnTP.com was hosted on my friend Deep’s DreamHost account and it was blocked as my blog took a lot of resources.

Deep’s account hosted many other sites too and all were down because of this and another blog. I was on a visit to my Grandparents house at the time and never knew that my site was down until I visited it on my uncle’s PC. But I thought it was a temporary thing.

Later while traveling back home, Deep called to let me know about the mess created by DreamHost and that he has been contacting them for a long time with no luck.

After many hours, Dreamhost replied back and unblocked all sites except for this blog. I then created my own DreamHost account so that I can use VPS. Many more hours later of contacting DreamHost they moved my domain to the new account, but forgot to move the files and database!

I contacted them many times, but they never replied back. Luckily Deep came to the rescue and moved the files and database for me today. None of my sites have ever been down for this long and thanks to DreamHost I lost a lot of traffic and money

I am now waiting for them to move the files and database of my hardware review blog to my new DreamHost account. I won’t say DreamHost sucks but their support really sucks!

I Am Looking For Hardware and Software Reviewers

I started this blog writing about all the things that I am interested in, but later decided to focus on just blogging, making money online and WordPress on this blog and to move other tech stuff on to other blogs. I used to write for a Tech blog and also had started a Tech blog of my own some time back, but then left it.

I currently have two more blogs other than this one which I never wrote about here as they aren’t ready.

I am now looking for good writers to help me with these two blogs, I will be paying per review. If anyone is interested and has expertise in either Hardware or Software, send me an email using the contact form and I will reply back as soon as possible.

Readers who just want to check out my other blogs, I will let you know once they are ready.

Update: These are the answers to the common questions I got from interested writers

1. Can I reproduce the reviews at my own website?

No, I can’t allow the reviews to be published on any other site. That would create duplicate content.

2. How much is the expected page length for reviews?

The reviews must have a minimum of 200 words

3. What are you looking for in a review?

few pictures of the product being reviewed
product description
product features
your opinion about the product
the pros and cons

4. How often should I write?

You must write atleast two times a week

5. How do you plan to pay?

Payment will be made at the end of the month via PayPal. So I hope you have a PayPal account.
