A lot of the food looked and smelled great and I would have tried some of it, but we just came from a big meal-I now lame excuse. Even still, much I don't think I would have gambled on trying out. Just a side note, not everyone in China eats all of these items. Many find them disgusting too or have their own local (within china)strange food they prefer. Just like any culture. Every culture has its own food that's gross to other cultures. I'm Chinese but from Singapore and I'm extremely conservative when it comes to food. Basically I like my food not moving and not belonging to the insect family. I did not know what it was, until a colleague asked our Chinese hosts. I can tell you jelly fish tastes good, but I don't know if I had tried it knowing what it was.
