Most would click and see what the next page has to say but to take an additional step to sign up, bid then wait to see how the bidding takes off, that would happen if the reader is seriously searching to buy.

Problogger had a post on this product when it first came out and again just a couple weeks ago.

I’ve been reading the comments above and I have to say that AuctionAds can work even if you dont have a product blog. I havent tested it yet but I have been playing around with the code.

For example, my blog is about husband and parenting skills (I dont really that many posts just yet cause its a new blog I started)and not a product blog, however auctionads can work with specific products just like amazon. If I go ahead and write about an amazing product or toy that I have at home I could go to auctionads and enter the name of the product in the keyword and the ad that will appear will be specifically for the product I am posting about. Then instead of adding the auction ad to my sidebar, which would cause it to appear on every page of my blog, I can add it at the bottom or center of of my post. This way I can give people the choice of buying the product from amazon at full price (through my Amazon affiliate link) or from ebay and a fraction of the price. You can create your own win win situation.

i agree with madhur. the reason for this was because auction ads got over 500 clicks the other day and i didnt make a single cent. i recently removed them fearing that they would take visitors from my site. i think the only way you’ll make money from them is with referrals and luck!

Unless you have huge traffic , i doubt that Auction ads will work .
