I’ve had this plugin installed on my Blog for quite a while now, but I had not had the time to go and update the title tags of the pages. Today, I finally sat down and updated all the Title tags for the pages. Hopefully I’ll see improved results on the Search Engines soon

for single post pages, it is best to just have the post name as the title and nothing else

What exactly do you mean by ’single post pages’? Also, are you using this plugin at your blog?

I too use optimal title.. There wasnt much to edit in optimal title except the header file. I guess this will have to wait

I’m not sure how I’m going to keep up with all the cool WP plugins you talk about. I just moved over to Wordpress yesterday and have SEO Title Tag as one of my plugins. Time to go optimize some titles!

Nice plugin, I will install it right away.

I have made some changes to my title tags but manually, it is nice that there is a plugin for that.

I would still Prefer using 1.0.Its good that you can modify a lot of things but then why not do it when you write a post.

We can do a lot of optimization while writing the post instead of editing it back with a plugin.Moreover the 404 page can be renamed very easily with a small 4 line of code.

I guess its really useful for people who don’t know much about programming.Sounds good

Robert- Higher the number of keywords in the title the smaller the value that will be given to each one of them. So it is better to remove the blog name from the single post pages.

@Robert: for SEO, the weight that keywords have in the page title is important, so you don’t want to have a clutter of words there, if they are not necessary. Besides, it is more probable that people would search for specific things they need to know, not for your blog’s title, so you should not aim to optimize each and every page of your blog for the blog’s name.
