@Byte: Delete Keys are not to be used to often.There is always a reason to hide things which can remove things permanently.Thats the only reason they must have hide it.

This is a nice tip, Gmail has made publish their shortcuts but indeed this one is not present there.

That’s a really odd keyboard shortcut!

Although by the time I’ve woken up tomorrow I’m sure to have forgotten it, so I’ll probably be clicking the ‘delete’ button

Great tips. Thanks. I have never got used to keeping my email. Once I read, I file it away or delete it. 9 out of 10 times, its in the trash.

Nice one. Even though Gmail has a lot of available space I still delete emails everyday and this will make it faster.

I wonder why they didn’t follow the normal convention by using the delete key…any everybody blames only Microsoft uses its own convention every time and they don’t follow standards.
