Well done - but worthwhile thinking about The Long Tail. Being high in the popularity stakes doesn't always equate to success. Chasing customers is more important than chasing popularity votes. However, getting high ratings on Technorati shouldn't be sniffed at.

my blog is 466,402 on Technorati´s rank, I think I should do something like that, but I have only 50 or 60 visits everyday, so I have a lot of work to do.

I said this before in another comment. People become to obsessed with their Technorati rankings. If you're writing for Bloggers (i.e. JohnTP, Problogger) then fine it makes sense to be ranked high but if your content is for the everyday joe shmoe or some type of niche then chances are they dont care about your rank.

Also, your rank on Technorati has almost nothing to do with how you rank on Google. My rank on Technorati sucks but on Google searches for my niche I come out on the first or second page of results. Sometimes even at the top of the first page of search results.

Another thing, here are three of many blogs in the top 50 of Technorati rank that have not been claimed:

http://technorati.com/blogs/http://www.gizmodo.com

http://technorati.com/blogs/http://www.lifehacker.com

http://technorati.com/blogs/http://instapundit.com

The fact that they are unclaimed means they don't waste their time worrying about their rank on Technorati. Who knows they may not even know anything about Technorati.

So unless you're writing for bloggers worry about your blog's content instead of your Technorati rank.

BTW John, regarding your comment "I am sure Technorati is smarter than us and that they will fix it up very soon for the betterment of results."

Whats so smart about automatically ranking blogs by the number of in-bound links they have. You just proved how easy it was to manipulate the system.

Just so you don't get confused by my comment and think I am attacking you in any way, your blog is one of my top two favorites. Keep the posts coming!

What I mean is that most blogs are about nothing, and like the Seifeld show, that is what makes some of them so interesting. My blog is about something, which narrowly defines it, so my market is going to be narrow. I guess I am not going to have a very popular blog. LOL

Well, fortunately for me, or not fortunately depending on how one looks at it, there are not a lot of fitness blogs out there, which makes mine somewhat unique. At least my search for fitness blogs did not pull up many results.

The downside to that is the fact that it appears there is little interest in reading a fitness blog as well. So, grabbing the attention of people is going to be hard for me, which is a shame because my site is not bad. It's actually pretty good.
