Strange AdSense Ad
Check this strange AdSense Ad. They have larger font size, different font, bulleted list and no background color for the Ad. They have not even put a visible border between the Ad and image.
Or do those bullets qualify as a division between ad and image?

Do you think they are a Premium Publisher? Or are they just violating the AdSense TOS?

It appears they are premium publisher, I checked the source code of this site, which shows many parameter which are not available to ordinary publishers like:
google_ad_output
google_feedback
google_max_num_ads
display_url

By looking at their Alexa ranking, it is about 12k++. It is hard to believe that they can get PP account at this traffic level.

They have to be a premium publisher to be allowed to use custom advertising code. If not then very daring risking losing your account like that.

I have seen some ads of these kind…most prob they are using CSS to do this…using a background pic…and placing the ads in that frame…
I don’t think they are a premium publisher. There is enough gap between the pic and the ads…
If you wanna put ads like that, you can mail to Adsense Team, regarding that…
BTW how do you put adsense ads only after the first post…???
I guess ur using a simple php function to do that?

— Vibhash, you are correct it is a very simple PHP function. I have used it before on other sites and it is very simple to add into the WordPress loop. Check it out here.

sourcer- I experiment sometimes to find out what changes will help me to increase my CTR.
Darren Rowse- I don’t think anyone would want to take such risks. So they could be Premium Publishers.

Gotta be premium, Google would pick up on that in a heartbeat.
