[...] Just like showing related posts in feeds, why not try to show your blog’s most popular posts in your Feed too? It may help you to get RSS readers to visit your blog. You can find info about it here. [...]

I have already taken a look at your feeds that's why I tried it. :)
It is around two hours since I uploaded this file. Do I have to do any changes to that file so that it could suit my blog?

It takes some time for the changes to take place. How long has it been since you uploaded the new wp-rss2.php?

The proof that the related and most popular posts works on Feeds is my <a href="http://feeds.feedburner.com/johntp" rel="nofollow">feed</a>. Take a look.

John I have downloaded the wp-rss2.php file from you and replaced the original file with this one but I am not able to see the the results. :( The plugins are already active in my blog and the feedburner summary burner is also inactive. What could be the isssue?

>>Or could this problem be only for web-based Feed Readers?

Not sure - I'm a newbee around, but I just now read your posts about showing popular posts, full feeds and your changing around...could that be the reason? Untill now the (webbased) feedreaders only showed new items from the feed, and made older items accessible if needed (with a max of the total items in the feed) - maby feed apps behave different.
I sometimes see that newsreaders act different, when older posts are changed just a little - that could be one of my reasons to change/test other readers.
What about a poll for favorite reader, and some testing of top 5, by you?

Askild- I have subscribed to my own feeds in FeedDemon for testing purposes and have never come across this problem. Or could this problem be only for web-based Feed Readers?

I will subscribe in Google Reader and check it. Thanks for letting me know :)

Hi JohnTP
Just as info: I followed your feed from both bloglines and google reader for some time. I noticed that several times a day your feed is presented with all your postings as beeing new posts - like if I just added the feed...It is opposit to all other feeds i follow (around 50), where only new post form each feed is presented.
It is not a big deal - now i know that you do not add 50 or 60 new posts a day :), but the disadvantage is that it takes quite some time to load compared to all other feeds.

Kepp up the good work
