Spamming to increase your RSS Subscribers
Recently I have been getting spam comments on my blog linking to their blog feed. Looks like spammers are becoming more clever everyday.
Here’s how they look like
Very informative article, It helped me a lot.

If you are one of the bloggers following this method, I must say it’s useless. The authors of the blogs who receive such spam comments will surely delete it. Such spam comments will only make your blog look bad. And ofcourse you will not get any RSS subscribers from this method.
Alternatively, you can incude your feed address and blog url in the signature part of your email. This method seems to work for me.

Tuxian- I currently use Akismet and I am quite satisfied with it. I suggest that you do not use two anti-spam plugins together. Deactivate anyone.
Shiva- Have you tried Akismet?

May be you can try Akismet with EasyPHP. I often test new WordPress plugins in EasyPHP before activating them here.
